Six Days on Summer

Rules

The six days of summer is a track competition on four dates

  • Day 1: sunday 9/7, h 21.00
  • Day 2: sunday 16/7, h 21.00
  • Day 3: sunday 23/7, h 21.00
  • FINAL: sunday 30/7, h 21.00

Every day is an Omnium in which the following discipline will be played

  1. Points Race
  2. Scratch
  3. 200 TT
  4. Elimination

Omnium Point System

Points for Scratch, 200TT and Elimination:

  • 1st: 20 points
  • 2nd: 15 points
  • 3rd: 12 points
  • 4th: 10 points
  • 5th: 9 points
  • 6th: 8 points
  • 7th: 7 points
  • 8th: 6 points
  • 9th: 5 points
  • 10th: 4 points
  • 11th: 3 point
  • 12th: 2 point
  • 13th: 1 point
  • 14th: 0 point
  • 15th: 0 point
  • 16th: 0 point

For what concerns points race, every player gets the point he scored

Team points score mode

Classic

Each rider gets points across the four discipline. Score of the team is calculated on the score of the best rider on the Omnium 

Aggregate

Each rider gets points across the four discipline. Score of the team is calculated on the sum of the scores of both riders

Best per discipline

The best rider of each omnium discipline scores points, regardless who he is. Score of the team is calculated on the sum of the best rider per each discipline.

Day classification

The teams, in order gets the following points. Final points are doubled

  • 1st: 100 points
  • 2nd: 70 points
  • 3rd: 50 points
  • 4th: 35 points
  • 5th: 25 points
  • 6th: 18 points
  • 7th: 10 points
  • 8th: 5 points

Tie-break

In case of a tie-break, last race of the Omnium act as a tie break

  • If it's Elimination race, the best position of the rider that scores points for the team (the best if both scores) acts as a tie-break
  • If it's Points race, the major amount of points of the rider that scores points for the team (the best if both scores) acts as a tie-break. In case of a tie-break in points, best position in final sprint acts as tie-break

Subscriptions

  • Every team can subscribe up to 4 players
  • To play, 2 players should be present
  • It's allowed to switch players between omnium disciplines.

Replacements

  • Replacements are allowed for a max of two evenings
  • Only players without a team can a replacement
  • Original players must play at least four of the six evenings
    • For any titular player missing an evening, 25% of the team will be deducted by final classification, before the final
  • Replacements are not allowed in final

Calendar

This is the calendar of the competition, combining all the modes and the possible orders

  • Day 1 - CLASSIC MODE
  • Day 2 - AGGREGATE MODE 
  • Day 3 - BEST PER DISCIPLINE MODE
  • FINAL - Up to the best team

The team leading before the final gets to pick the mode and the order in which the final is played between six possible choices.

Competition tie-break

The competition tie-break at any moment is the best placement in the last event played.
