Team Track - Competition Format

Scratch

Day 1

Qualifiers

• Teams are divided into four groups, of four teams each
• Each group will play two games. Points will be assigned in this way
  • 10 points for the team that wins the game
  • 5 points for the 2nd placed team
  • 2 points for the 3rd placed team
  • 1 point for the 4th placed team
• At the end of the three games the two teams with most points per group will advance into the final four
• Tie-break in case of equal points will be the last game placement
• Team can switch players between one game and another between the eight players that they have in the roster
• Each game will be played in 4vs4vs4vs4 format

Day 2

Semifinals

 

• Semifinals will be drawn according to placement of the teams. Each semifinal will contain two teams 1st placed and two teams 2nd placed.
• Two games will be played for each semifinals as in 1st round. The two best team for each semifinal will advance into final, the two losers team will play for 5th place
• Places from 9-16 will be decided by first round group placement.

Final

• Final will be played on a single game
• Team can switch players between semifinals and finals between the eight players that they have in the roster
• Each game will be played in 4vs4vs4vs4 format

Points Race, Elimination Race

Day 1

Qualifiers

• Teams are divided into four groups, of four teams each
• Each group will play two games. Winners of Round 1 will be in semifinal. Round 2 will be played with 4 easy IA. Winners will be in semifinal. 
• At the end of the three games the two teams with most points per group will advance into the final four
• Tie-break in case of equal points will be the last game placement
• Team can switch players between one game and another between the eight players that they have in the roster
• Each game will be played in 4vs4vs4vs4 format

Day 2

Semifinals

 

• Semifinals will be drawn according to placement of the teams. Each semifinal will contain two teams 1st placed and two teams 2nd placed.
• Two games will be played for each semifinals as in 1st round. The two best team for each semifinal will advance into final, the two losers team will play for 5th place
• Places from 9-16 will be decided by first round group placement.

Final

• Final will be played on a single game
• Team can switch players between semifinals and finals between the eight players that they have in the roster

Omnium

Day 1

Qualifiers

• Teams are divided into four groups, of four teams each
• Each group will play one game.
• At the end of the game the two teams with most points per group will advance into the final four
• Each omnium game will be played in 4vs4vs4vs4 format
• It's forbidden to change team members between the omnium disciplines

Day 2

Finals

• Semifinals will be drawn according to placement of the teams. Each semifinal will contain two teams 1st placed and two teams 2nd placed.
• One game will be played for each semifinal. The two best team for each semifinal will advance into final, the two losers team will play for 5th place
• Places from 9-16 will be decided by first round group placement.
• Each game will be played in 4vs4vs4vs4 format

 

200TT 

Day 1

Qualifiers

• Teams are divided into four groups, of four teams each
• Each group will play one game with five attempts.
• At the end of each games will play in the semifinals the best two teams for each group.
• Three players per team are required in 200TT
• It's forbidden to change the team members between the attempts

Day 2

Semifinals

• Semifinals will be drawn according to placement of the teams. Each semifinal will contain two teams 1st placed and two teams qualified by time
• One game with three attempts will be played for each semifinal. The two best team for each semifinal and the two non-qualified teams with the best time will play into final.

Day 3

Final

• Final will be also played on three attempts.
• There won't be a 5th place final. 5-9 ranking will be done according to semifinal times

 

Keirin

Qualifiers

• Teams are divided into four groups, of four teams each
• Each group will play three games in Round Robin form according to this calendar
  • Game 1
    • Pot 1 vs Pot 2
    • Pot 3 vs Pot 4
  • Game 2
    • Pot 1 vs Pot 3
    • Pot 2 vs Pot 4
  • Game 3
    • Pot 1 vs Pot 4
    • Pot 2 vs Pot 3
• Three players per team will play in each game
• Each game will be played on five attempts.
• Point scale for each game will be as follows
  • 5-0 or 4-1: 3 points for the winner team, 0 points for the loser team
  • 3-2: 2 points for the winner team, 1 point for the loser team
• First two team for each group will advance to semifinals
• Tie-breakers in case of equal points will be
  • Points obtained in the matches between the teams involved
  • Majour amount of total rounds victories
  • Major number of games won by 5-0
  • Major number of games won by 4-1
  • Additional game between the team involved in case of 2 or 3 teams
    • Game will be played in 2vs2vs2 format in case of a perfect equality between three teams)
  • In case of a perfect equality between the four teams after all the games, an individual keirin of five-rounds will be played as tie-break.
• It's forbidden to change players between the rounds of a game
• It's allowed to change players between the games of a group
• At the end of the three games will play in the quarter-finals the first two placed for each group.

Final Eight

• Quarter-finals will be drawn according to placement of the teams. Each quarter-final will match one first-placed team with one second-placed team
• One game on five rounds will be played for each quarter-final.
• Quarter-final winners will advance to semifinals, losers will play for 5-9 position.
• The same format will be applied for semifinals and semifinals for 5th position, with winners advancing in final and final for 5th position and losers playing in the 3rd place final and in the 7th place final
• 1st place final will be on three games at best-of-five rounds.
• It's forbidden to change players between the rounds of a game
• It's allowed to change players between quarter-final game and semifinal-game, between semifinal-game and final game and - for first place final - between each game of the final

 

Sprint

Qualifiers

• Teams are divided into four groups, of four teams each
• Each group will play three games in Round Robin form according to this calendar
  • Game 1
    • Pot 1 vs Pot 2
    • Pot 3 vs Pot 4
  • Game 2
    • Pot 1 vs Pot 3
    • Pot 2 vs Pot 4
  • Game 3
    • Pot 1 vs Pot 4
    • Pot 2 vs Pot 3
• Three players per team will play in each game
• Each game will consist of nine sprints, with each member of a team facing another member of the team.
• Point scale for each game will be as follows
  • 9-0, 8-1, 7-2, 6-3: 3 points for the winner team, 0 points for the loser team
  • 5-4: 2 points for the winner team, 1 point for the loser team
• First two team for each group will advance to semifinals
• Tie-breakers in case of equal points will be
  • Points obtained in the matches between the teams involved
  • Majour amount of total rounds victories
  • Major number of games won by 9-0
  • Major number of games won by 8-1
  • Major number of games won by 7-2
  • Major number of games won by 6-3
  • Additional game between the team involved in case of 2 teams
  • In case of a perfect equality between three teams, will played an individual round-robin of sprint (3 games) until one player won 2 games (and it will pass). Then an individual sprint as tie-break
  • In case of a perfect equality between four teams, two individual sprints will be played to determined who will pass. Draw will be random 
• It's forbidden to change players between the rounds of a game
• It's allowed to change players between the games of a group
• At the end of the three games will play in the quarter-finals the first two placed for each group.

Final Eight

• Quarter-finals will be drawn according to placement of the teams. Each quarter-final will match one first-placed team with one second-placed team
• One game will be played for each quarter-final.
• Quarter-final winners will advance to semifinals, losers will play for 5-9 position.
• The same format will be applied for semifinals and semifinals for 5th position, with winners advancing in final and final for 5th position and losers playing in the 3rd place final and in the 7th place final
• 1st place final will be with each sprint played on best-of-three rounds format (who will win two rounds between the players involved gets the point).
• It's forbidden to change players between the rounds of a game
• It's allowed to change players between quarter-final game and semifinal-game, between semifinal-game and final game and - for first place final - between each game of the final
