Competition Format - Road Solo

Road Inline

Round 1

• 85 players are divided in 10 groups of 8 or 9 players each
• First two for each group (20 players) advance to round 2
• 65 players will play second chance

Second Chance

• 65 players are divided in 8 groups of 8 or 9 players each
• 15 spots are available for players that can still subscribe for second chance. Group can be at maximum of 10 players
• First two for each group (16 players) advance to round 2

Round 2

• 36 players are divided into 6 group of 6 players each
• First three players for each group (18 players) advance to semifinals

Semifinals

• 18 players are divided into 3 groups of 6 players each
• First two players for each group (6 players) advance to final
• Eliminated players are ranked in Road GC according to position, then points

Final

• 6 players plays the final
• Winners is Road Inline World Champion and advance to Road Grand Final

• 36 players are divided into 4 group of 9 players each

• Winners is Road Team Time Trial World Champion and advance to Road Grand Final

Road Grand Final

Final

• 6 players will play Road Grand Final
• 5 players are winners of specialities
• The last player is the winner of Road GC, or the best placed in Road GC that didn't win a speciality
• If some players didn't show up or doesn't want to play the Road Grand Final, their places are given to the players immediately behind in the speciality he is entitled to enter in final for. If it's not available, in the road GC.
• Winner of Road Grand Final is the Road Pro Cycling Manager World Champion 2018
