Initial Mod v1.0

Excellent modification by Dankan, leader by the well-known PCM Spain 2006-project for PCM 2006.

The first PCM 2007/2008 update package is now available. Like last year's creations from the official Spanish site which were so appreciate by players across all over Europe, this new mod will make your 'arrival' in the new game more comfortable. The improvements introduced in the original game are the following:

* Team and ridernames completely corrected. The team Ergomo has been erased, and so were their riders. 95% riders have now their own photos (there's still a dozen riders who don't get one, since they were too difficult to be found).

* Total graphic update: all jerseys (btw. we've paid attention to leader's jerseys, as well the generic ones as custom jerseys, having included new ones for f.ex. the Vuelta), accessories, minijerseys, transferts and inferface-teamlogos have been corrected. Besides, the race and race-category logos are updated as IRL, too. The Giro/vuelta custom backgrounds that show up when loading a stage got their race logos corrected.

* Staff to be hired is now corrected and made bigger, as it was taken from the Pack PCM Spain 2006.

* Real secondary sponsors taken from real brands all over the world, with their own logos in all cases.

* Completely revised calendar: right racenames, real dates (except for October, where we had to put some races before they'll be raced IRL in order not to mess everything, since riders' contracts are broken in October 15th and Lombardy is raced in the 20th in real), replacement of the Zuri Metzgete by the Ronde van het Groene Hart (1.1) and day-races and stages corrections, where possible (three days and four stages in the Euskal Bizikleta, two stages in Critérium's Sunday, six stages for Qatar...).

I'll thank any comment, suggestion or error report. I know it's too risky to release this just when the game has just been released, but I promise to keep the mod updated and give you a bigger and better version asap.

I have crosschecked rider-stats from the PPDB Giant07 (PCM06) with the Initial Mod (PCM07)

All team riders which are present in both databases have been updated.

If you find something you'd like to change. Either send me a PM on Cyanide-community or on PCMDaily.com.

Just unpack in your Database-folder.

REMEMBER TO MAKE BACKUP OF YOUR ORIGINAL .CDB FILE BEFORE EXTRACTING THIS ONE.

Il gioco mi crasha il 30 giugno 2007 pirma di simualare il campionato della rep.ceca! Ho installato solo l'initial mod v1.0

Il problema di Cycling Manager 7 è che tende a impiantarsi in certe date: ad esempio, nella mia prima carriera con la Caisse D'Epargne si impiantava alla vuelta ad andalusia, nella successiva con la Liquigas no. Ora sto usando l'A&S con questo pack e nessun problema, poi vi dico.

Provato a iniziare una nuova carriera e vedere se al 30 giugno si blocca di nuovo (magari per fare prima simula tutto fino al 30 giugno)?

Guida per inserire questo pack nel gioco

E' una guida per chi, come Cipollini, mi ha mandato un mp per chiedere informazioni su come installare. La inserisco per questo pack perchè attualmente è il più semplice da installare e il più completo.

Per prima cosa aprite il link megaupload, in alto troverete un box bianco e delle lettere a fianco: inserite le lettere nel box e cliccate per andare avanti.

Vi troverete davanti a una schermata di scelta tra ''free'' e ''premium'': cliccate free (per premium serve un premium account che è pagamento) ed aspettate il variabile n° di secondi che vi dice. Dopodichè cliccate ''download now'' e scaricate.

Scaricherete un file .rar di 100 mega circa, mi pare 119 ma potrei sbagliarmi: lo estraete con Winrar e vi compariranno 4 cartelle (Database, CM_Textures, Gui, Userhome). Copiatele nella cartella di installazione di Cycling Manager 2007 (di solito C:programmi/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager 2007). Vi dirà che ci sono file che hanno lo stesso nome di altri già presente, poi vi chiederà se volete sostituirli e cliccate ok. Alla fine del processo avviate il gioco e giocate.
