Hello to everybody. I've for a long time hesitated before posting that, but now i have to do it.

I would like to say you that i stop doing this project. It have been now for two years and a half that i began making databases, but now i'm in a situation of burn out, i'm out of order. I don't have any more the strenght to fight, to sacrifice a part of my private life for the FCD.

I loved this project. I never did anything better in my life. It makes me grow up, makes me know that i could do good things, and makes me learn many things. I met wonderful people, daizenshu of course, but of course too Michiel, Punky, Niels, Leon40, dozen, Gaz, adiouk and so much other ones. I would like to thank you from the deep of my heart everyone who helped me or who posted a small kind message, which make me happy to do the FCD. I will stop those thanks, i'm crying right now... Sad

Michiel will try (he doesn't promise anything) to continue this advendture and replace me. Of course, if you could help him, it would be really cool. I will give him all the work i did, it will be his purpose to use it as well as he could. He'll come by himself to give news of this project if he wants. I will be here at the beginning to help him a bit and explain him what i know.

And as far as i'm concerned, i will stay of course in the PCM community. More than a sharing place, it's nearly a family for me. But i will never (at least i believe) lead a such project any more. I will be here as a free lance, to comment, to help doing some jerseys / stages, but i don't want to have as much pressure as i had doing the FCD.

I'm so sorry that i couldn't do what i promised this time. But it would have cost me too much physically. If you can't say stop when it become dangerous, you're not an adult.

IMPROTANTE: COME ENTRARE SU MEGA

 

Alcuni di voi avranno notato che non si può entrare su mega, poiché è stato oscurato in Italia. Non è comunque considerata pirateria accedervi e scaricare da esso, ecco quindi come potete entrarci normalmente.

 

Bisogna modificare e sostituire il proprio DNS primario del computer, smartphone o tablet con uno dei seguenti:[/size]

Per farlo su Windows potete seguire queste indicazioni:

1 Aprire il ‘Pannello di controllo’ di Windows

2 Click su ‘Centro Connessioni di rete e condivisione’

3 Sulla sinistra premere ‘Modifica impostazioni scheda’

4 Click con il pulsante destro del mouse sulla scheda di rete e poi ‘Proprietà’

5 Posizionarsi sopra ‘Protocollo Internet versione 4 (TCP/IPv4)’ e poi premere proprietà

6 Spuntare ‘Utilizza i seguenti indirizzi server DNS:’

7 Impostare il server DNS preferito e il DNS alternativo con uno degli IP sopra indicati.

Ragazzi ma c'è il modo per scaricare da torrent? E inoltre ma i link postati nel primo messaggio, il 21 Giugno, sono dell'ultima versione? o ci sono stati dei cambiamenti e c'è una versione piu aggiornata del database? Ultima domanda, il gioco modifica anche i valori dei ciclisti ovviamente, vero?

1) Non lo so di preciso, penso che tu debba avviarli tutti e 9.

3) No, sono i cartelloni degli sponsor che si vedono in game nelle tappe (arrivi, transenne, podi) e nei velodromi.

Li devi scaricare tutti e avviarli tutti.

Sì, ci sono. Se ci sono file nominati nello stesso modo (dovrebbero essere parecchi) avrai in game quelli del pack che hai scaricato per secondo, indipendentemente dal db che selezioni.

Comunque ragazzi qua la cosa è traumatica, per ogni parte ci mette venti secondi solo ad aprirla e 5 minuti ad installare. Oltretutto ogni volta bisogna pure che cambi il percorso perchè di default è quello francese. E come se non bastasse vuole pure creare un collegamento nella cartella start...ma dico io, prima di pubblicarlo non pensano a tutte queste cose? :s

 

Comunque uscirà il PCM.daily expansion pack quest'anno, che voi sappiate?

 

Edit: mi ha appena dato un problema durante l'installazione, dice che un file sorgente è danneggiato...e sto ancora al primo pack...sembra fatto coi piedi sto database

Ho preso il DB dal fix e come prevedibile i valori sono osceni. Dico solo che Dumoulin ha più di Cancellara a crono.

Le tue critiche mi sembrano alquanto infondate. E' un pack molto grande ed è normale che non si scarichi e installi tutto con uno schiocco di dita. Ogni parte sono 1,5G B, se l'installazione è traumatica perché bisogna aspettare 5 minuti a parte, chissà cosa sarà stato realizzarlo per giorni interi. La cartella default è in francese? E' pur sempre il pack della comunità francese... chi lavora nel modding va alla cartella del gioco milioni di volte, andarci per 9 volte per installare un pack non è una tragedia. Il collegamento sul desktop è una funzionalità irremovibile degli exe, definirlo fatto con i piedi perché bisogna spuntare una casella mi sembra più che esagerato. Il file è corretto, l'hai scaricato male te.

 

Certo che faranno il daily, che... ha sempre chiesto il collegamento sul desktop e la cui installazione è leggermente (ironico) più lunga.

Un pack davvero imponente, complimenti a medè, michichiel e tutti quelli che ci hanno lavorato 

La cosa più divertente è partire con una piccola squadra continental e poter fare tutte le gare x.2 del calendario!

Ci sono anche delle pecche. Come avete già detto alcuni valori sono osceni, inoltre i potenziali sono completamente casuali e si perde molto realismo per questo. Ci ho messo ore a sistemare tutto il database ( se qualcuno è interessato al cdb sistemato può mandarmi un mp, ho anche aggiunto un trentina di corridori italiani under 23... )

Alla fine non penso che lo userò, mi sembra che abbiamo puntato tutto sulla quantità, tralasciando la qualità. In tal senso preferisco nettamente il nostro PackITA

Ragazzi perchè dite che sono fatti male i valori? Cioè giusto per fare un esempio, per me i valori MO sembrano i migliori attualmente. Visto che Contador, Nibali, Froome e Quintana stanno allo stesso livello, 82.
