Pazzesca caduta a 5 km dall'arrivo: fortunatamente nessun big è coinvolto, ma il tedesco Artur Gajek (Team NetApp) è costretto al ritiro.

 

Rigoberto Urán e José Joaquín Rojas (Tugas-Tap) escono in testa dall'ultima curva, con Mark Cavendish (Sky) alla loro ruota...

 

...Urán lancia Rojas come meglio non poteva, ma non sarà sufficiente a raccogliere un buon risultato: il campione spagnolo sarà solo undicesimo.

Bellissima Vuelta e grande Valverde, dominatore assoluto con 6 vittorie di tappa e tutte e tre le classifiche. Inoltre vorrei segnalare la vittoria della Tugas nella classifica a squadre! Peccato per Rojas nella volata finale, ma Astarloza super protagonista.

Infine un elogio al mio Miguel Javier Soler (se dovessi intervenire sul save in futuro potresti cambiarlo in Mikel Xavier Soler come ti avevo chiesto?) che finisce 31°, anche se era 28° prima della caduta dell'ultima tappa, davanti a Schleck
